Ball-parked from a watching a scene in cooking show a long time ago. All the measurements are more of suggestions since its everything is to taste.
Salsa Verde
Ingredients
- 5 tomatillos
- 5 jalapeños
- 8 serranos
- 1/2 – 3/4 c orange juice
- 1/4 rice vinegar
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch green onion
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 limes
- Lots of salt
Instructions
- Cut tomatillos, jalapeños, and serranos in half, lengthwise.
- Char tomatillos, jalapeños, and serranos until blacked – half of the peppers on the inside, half on the skin. Char the green onion as well.
- Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined. Add more salt to taste.
